Erica created this fetching skirt for as a class recycling project last spring. She lengthened an old denim mini skirt by sewing on a width of red bandana print fabric and ruffle of white jacquard that she salvaged from another garment. We give her an A+!

that is super cute. i have a khaki mini from express that i haven't worn for a few years since my legs have gotten fatter, but it was expensive and i can't bear to give it to goodwill... i'm thinking i might be able to do something like this... hmm. becca, have you been reading some of the re-fashioning blogs? they are so inspiring!
